About Us

MISSION STATEMENT

BMB is a non-profit organization established in 2018 with the goal of providing a full array of extra-curricular activities aimed at enriching the lives of 9TH through 12TH Grade Bais Yaakov teenagers and subsequently their families.

BMB provides a “safe space” for the girls and a healthy outlet which enables the girls to grow and develop, greatly improve their social and life skills in a place the girls can call “home”.

By the various activities and trips BMB organizes, provides, and supervises, our girls are empowered to gain independence and self-confidence and acquire a more positive and healthier self-image – an essential prerequisite for wholesome development for young teenage girls: trips, organized Shabbat getaways, a variety of social, creative, athletic, recreational, and Torah activities and workshops.

BMB encourages the girls to stay focused on the positivity that our community has to offer and gives them the courage and strength to more readily, effectively and successfully apply themselves in school and in life. With the dedicated, warm, accepting and encouraging staff of role-model counselors, the girls learn to define and find themselves from “within” rather than looking for excitement, approval and acceptance from the “outside”.

By organizing and encouraging various opportunities to do Chessed and help others, we demonstrate to our girls that by “giving back” to society and helping others, we help ourselves become better individuals and Jews.

The graduating 12TH graders come back as mentors for the younger girls and are there for them for them to inspire to be the “Best That They Can Be”.

BMB has organized two groups with parallel and coordinated programs for girls residing in Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh. מטרות העמותה
